Growing up in Africa, I witnessed firsthand the challenges and opportunities that define our continent. From a young age, I saw communities striving to overcome economic hardships, unreliable infrastructure, and environmental degradation yet I also saw resilience, innovation, and an unshakable will to thrive.

As a child, I experienced what it meant to live in areas where access to basic technology, sustainable energy, and digital tools was limited. To date, Water and Electricity remain a major challenge, especially in rural areas. I equally saw brilliant minds with groundbreaking ideas but without the resources to bring them to life. These experiences shaped my deep conviction that technology and sustainability are not just luxuries but necessities for Africa’s growth.

Through my journey, first as a Tech support to now technology analyst, entrepreneur, and writer covering Africa’s digital transformation, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with innovators, businesses, and policymakers tackling Africa’s most pressing challenges. Yet, I realized that storytelling alone wasn’t enough; action was needed. That’s why I founded Origin Thrive, to move beyond conversations and actively drive change.

Origin Thrive is more than an initiative; it’s a movement. A movement dedicated to empowering African communities, SMEs, and local innovators with the tools they need to flourish especially sensitization while maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Through projects like Greentech for SMEs and AI SmartWaste Management, we’re building a bridge between innovation and real-world impact, ensuring that technology is accessible, sustainable, and tailored to Africa’s needs.
